More Than 146,000 Served, and counting. . .
In Milwaukie in 1992 there were no local programs providing regular meals to community members in need of support, and none in the metro area that served meals on Sundays. The founders of Feed The Hungry, Inc thought they could meet that need and do something greater in the process; build community by getting diverse groups and individuals working on a common cause.
For more than three decades the community of Milwaukie, OR has gathered every Sunday afternoon to serve and enjoy a meal, while finding community connection. Over 146,000 meals have been served by hundreds of people representing dozens of civic groups, churches, schools, and hospitals.
Meals are served every Sunday from 2:15PM to 3PM in the Parish Hall of St. John Episcopal Church on Jefferson Street, in Downtown Milwaukie.
Feed The Hungry, Inc. is a community-based, non-profit, non-denominational organization.
Feed The Hungry is an equal opportunity provider, in accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies. For the full nondiscrimination statement and compliance information please click HERE
